Playbill for Death Becomes Her

I knew Death Becomes Her would be funny and a good time, but it very much exceeded my expectations across the board. The production quality is much higher than I expected. I have been trying to see this show since June, but I very much wanted to see it with Megan Hilty, Jennifer Simard, Christopher Sieber, and Michelle Williams on the stage. Megan went out with her vocal injury the first time I tried to see it, and then I needed to prioritize other shows that were about to close. For this latest trip, my top two priorities were John Proctor is the Villain and Death Becomes Her. I can finally check off both of these incredible shows as of today.

What surprised me the most was the outstanding ensemble. Fantastic choreography has been such a theme in 2025, and I do not always expect it in a comedy. Christopher Gattelli did such a nice job, and this is one of the better quality musicals I have seen this year.

There are so many highlights to this show, but I do not want to give away any spoilers. I knew a couple of spoilers going in, and I wish I did not.

I came into this show primarily just a fan of Megan Hilty, and I leave this show also a new fan of Jennifer Simard, Christopher Sieber, and Michelle Williams. What a cast. The entire company was stellar.

This show is highly recommended, especially while you can catch it with the current cast.
